1. Delete all of older version of Mesa and/or Conix3D from your SystemFolder.
• Place the folder Mesa 3D (inside the System Extensions:Mesa (debug off)) into the System Folder:Extensions Folder. (No restart needed)
You should download Mesa_Bins for this folder.
2. Installing GLUT Documentation (only if you use/know what's QuickView!):
• Copy the "glut.qv" file into your QuickView folder (if installed).
• Run QuickView, and type "glut" and press return to test the installation.
(for getting the full documentation go to the Mac-Mesa homepage:
http://valerie.inf.elte.hu/~boga/Mesa.html.)
Be Sure to read "Mesa ReadMe" and "Mac-Mesa ReadMe" in the "ReadMe ƒ" folder.
For users wish to use Mesa on 68K Macs read the Mesa CFM68K notes.
MESA 3.0b1 NOTES:
SOURCES:
Library sources avaible in other distribution. (see http://valerie.inf.elte.hu/~boga/Mesa.html for more information).
RAVE:
The RAVE library is disabled by default. You should drop the RAVEMDD to the Mesa 3D folder inside your System folder, in order to enable the RAVE.
(This isn't a plugin actually, it's used so that the user can enable/disable the RAVE driver.) The RAVE driver contains a couple of bugs, please be patient....
RAVE tested with Sotware RAVE,G3 builtin ATI,ATI XClaim Pro,3DFX.
Please report any icompatibilities. (boga@valerie.inf.elte.hu).
3DFX:
I'm working on the port of native (trought GLIDE) 3DFX driver....
68K/CFM68K:
This release was'nt compiled for a 68K macintosh.
If you have enough time you should be able to do it, but you should know CodeWarrior (if you have problem report to me).
